New Ship Set to Cruise the Coast of Maine
American Cruise Lines' new 100-passenger ship, the American Star, will spend its debut season cruising the rugged and picturesque Maine coast. From June 16 to September 29, the ship will call at Bangor, Belfast, Bucksport, Camden, and Rockport as well as cruise through scenic Blue Hill and Penobscot Bays. Maine's coastline and quaint seaside towns are perfect places to explore on a summer honeymoon.
The American Star offers 50 spacious staterooms, all with plasma screen TVs and DVD players. Many of the staterooms also feature private balconies. The Star will offer six, seven, and fourteen-night voyages. Cruise packages start at $2560 per person, which includes accommodations, all meals and entertainment on board, and taxes.
